The patent-pending CopperPlus electrode delivers at least 2 times longer consumable life over standard consumables* and is designed exclusively for use with Duramax torches, when cutting metal 1/2” (12 mm) and under.
Double the life means double the parts. Reduce your operating costs and cut more parts with fewer changeovers.

While different partners sell and service different products, in general, Hypertherm distributors sell the Powermax brand of air plasma products, as well as consumables for all types of Hypertherm systems; some distributors also sell automated products. Rental companies typically rent or lease Powermax air plasma products and may sell consumables for those systems. Table manufacturers / OEMs sell automated cutting products and consumables and typically offer service on what they sell. Systems integrators sell retrofits and upgrade products.

CopperPlus compatibility
- CopperPlus is designed exclusively for use with Duramax torches.
- Powermax65 and Powermax85 systems are sold standard with Duramax torches.
- Duramax retrofit torches are available for Powermax1000, Powermax1250, Powermax1650, Powermax600, Powermax800, Powermax900, MAX42 and MAX43 systems. To upgrade to Duramax torch technology and experience the benefits of CopperPlus, refer to the part numbers below.
