Hypertherm believes in empowering our Associates. But this empowerment is just the beginning. Our team-based, flat organizational structure means everyone is an equal here. Hypertherm supports our Associates and listens to every voice.
"Hypertherm is truly an amazing place to work. I feel challenged, valued, respected and inspired every day. The culture of empowerment and continuous improvement make it an exciting place to work. If I have ideas, there’s always a safe place to share them. If I want to make an improvement to something, I have the freedom to just do it!
Working at Hypertherm, I feel like the sky is the limit to what I can learn and what I can accomplish. Since starting my career here, I’ve received valuable training and experience. I’ve had the opportunity to develop my confidence, leadership capabilities, presentation and public speaking skills, problem solving and analytical skills and so much more. I am currently in school part-time earning my MBA. Without Hypertherm’s support, that would not be a possibility for me. Hypertherm has more than proven their commitment to Associate development in the time I’ve been here.
Hypertherm’s commitment to philanthropy and community involvement is inspiring. Whether it is the annual United Way drive, a food collection for a local shelter, a team working together with COVER to build a house, painting chairs for a local fundraiser or the two days a year we are given for community service time, it allows us all to make a difference.
The team here at Hypertherm has become a second family. It’s exciting to know that I have fellow Associates in every corner of the world. There is such a sense of pride, teamwork and excellence. Hypertherm has far exceeded my expectations as a GREAT place to work."

"As of tomorrow I will have been with Hypertherm for two months and I’m very happy to be part of this company. The atmosphere is refreshingly positive and genuinely team based. I grew up in the Upper Valley and returned here for the quality of life. My family lives in Windsor, VT so I can leave my quiet cul-de-sac and be at my desk in less than 20 minutes. Working at the Call Center and representing Centricut products allows me to be part of a smaller business team, as well as part of the larger Hypertherm community. I appreciate all the training I have received already, as well as the structured plans for continued training. It is fun to work here and I’m excited to be a part of Hypertherm."
Jesse Tyler, North American Call Center
"I have been at Hypertherm Automation for ten years and counting . . . what keeps me from leaving? Hypertherm is a financially healthy, privately owned and growing company. I have fellow Associates who genuinely enjoy what they do and are always willing to help out. Hypertherm recognizes that Associates have lives outside of work and the importance of family time. Hypertherm encourages a healthy lifestyle with a tangible example being a work-out room that is open "around the clock". Community involvement is encouraged with two paid days of Community Service Project work each year. These are all reasons that I have been here for a decade and hope to be here for one or two more!"
