Hypertherm's Philanthropic Mission is to partner with organizations and engage in activities that strengthen and create sustainable, positive change in the community and environment.

HOPE Foundation grant decisions are made by the Hypertherm HOPE Team. The team, comprised of Hypertherm associates representing all areas of the company, meets quarterly to review all requests. The team strives to communicate all decisions within 4 months of the receipt of application. If approved, organizations can expect payment within 2 months of receiving notification. (Please plan your request accordingly based on your needs and our review cycle.)

Donation decisions on are based on the following guidelines:
  • Organizations must have nonprofit tax exempt status under IRS code 501(c)3.
  • Grant requests should align with our philanthropic mission and core value of respect for all people.
  • Hypertherm does not support donations to individuals nor does it support organizations with a direct political or religious focus.
  • Grant seekers are expected to be inclusive and non-discriminatory in their practices, policies and programs.
Instructions for a Grant request:
  • Complete the on line application below.
  • If your request is greater than $350, please send your operating and program (if applicable) budgets to grants@hypertherm.com or mail to Attn: Beth Danyluk, PO BOX 5010, Hanover, NH 03755.
  • If this is your first request to the HOPE Foundation, please complete, sign, and submit the attached W-9 form to grants@hypertherm.com or mail to Attn: Beth Danyluk, PO BOX 5010, Hanover, NH 03755.
  • If grant request is approved, please prepare to submit your measureable outcomes (activities, progress, challenges, and learnings) within the time frame you document in the form.

For a Senior Center

Measurable outcome:  Hold four training sessions for new volunteer in-home care providers.

Measurable outcome:  Increase the number of elderly individuals in Grafton County able to remain in their homes because of our assistance from 150 to 175.

For a performing arts center

Measurable outcome:  Host 300 local middle school students for free matinee performances of our production of XYZ and provide a discussion guide on the performance to their educators.

For a food pantry

Measurable outcome:  Hire a part-time educational coordinator.

Measurable outcome:  Deliver a hands-on healthy eating course to 200 individuals.

Measurable outcome:  Increase the percent of food pantry customers that report eating at least 4 servings of fruits and vegetables most days from our baseline of 20% to our goal of 40%.

For a camp scholarship program

Measurable outcome:  Enable ten 12-15 year old local youths to attend a weeklong camp focusing on team building and self confidence who otherwise would not be able to afford to attend.

Measurable outcome:  Decrease by half the percent of attendees who report drug, alcohol, or tobacco use in the past month using pre-camp and post-camp surveys and focus group discussions (for example, from 30% to 15%).
